Ghana midfielder Afriyie Acquah will not be staying at Sampdoria next season, according to reports in Italy.
The 23-year old, who is on loan from 1899 Hoffenheim will have to return to the German club, as he is said to be excluded from Sampdoria’s plans for next season.
Tuttosport reports that Walter Zenga , the number one candidate to replace Mihajlovic as manager of Sampdoria, will be looking to construct a more technical midfield.
Acquah who does not meet those requirements will have to make way for some new inclusions into the side.
Meanwhile, his agent Oliver Arthur is condident his client will secure a permanent deal with Sampdoria.
