Adebayor concert: Wizkid, Bisa K Dei to thrill Adebayor’s big party in Lome

Top African music stars including Wizkid of Nigeria, Ghanaian hiplife sensation, Bisa K Dei, Togolsese icon Dieudonné Willa, British-Nigerian singer Lola Rae, Serge Beynaud and a lot others have been invited by Togo football star, Emmanuel Sheyi Adebayor for a big musical concert in Lome next month

The two-day concert is slated for Marcelo Beach in Lome before a second at the National Stadium on 13 and 14 June and is estimated to attract over 5,000 audience.

Coordinated by the Sheyi Emmanuel Adebayor Foundation, the footballer who was handed compassionate leave by his English Premier League club, Tottenham Hotspurs even before the season ended hopes to put behind him the family crisis which has engaged him over the past month.

This was the second time this season that the former Arsenal, Manchester City and Real Madrid striker had been granted compassionate leave by Tottenham to return to Togo to sort out family problems which came to a head in October last year when Sheyi was accused of sacking his mother from his house.

The striker followed up by making a plethora of allegations against his family which reached a crescendo within the past month on Facebook where he revealed some unpalatable events he has had to go through with his family, prompting Tottenham officials to grant him the latest leave.

With the football term over and holiday season beginning, 31 year old Adebayor apparently wants to make up big time with the mega 2-day party featuring some of Africa’s top musicians.

The highly paid footballer is a big fan of wild parties and has a lot of friends within both Ghana and Nigeria music industries including Wizkid who has even spent time in the past visiting Adebayor at his plush North London residence. Follow @thedonplato
