Chelsea winger Christian Atsu is in talks with Bournemouth, according to Sky Sports News HQ sources.
The 23 year old who spent the last campaign on loan at Everton, is now close to agreeing another season-long loan with Eddie Howe’s Premier League newcomers.
The Ghanaian moved to Stamford Bridge from Porto in September 2013, signing a five-year contract for a fee of around £3.5m, and was immediately loaned out to Vitesse Arnhem.
He made 26 appearances and scored five goals for the Dutch side before joining the Toffees for the whole of the 2014-15 season.
Atsu was part of the Ghana squad beaten in the final of the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations by Ivory Coast during his time on Merseyside but has yet to feature for Chelsea.
The Championship’s champions made Artur Boruc their first signing ahead of their first top-flight campaign, signing the Poland goalkeeper on a free transfer on a one-year deal.
Howe’s club have also been linked to Reading ‘keeper Adam Federici, Burnley full-back Kieran Trippier, Blackburn forward Josh King and Crystal Palace striker Dwight Gayle in recent weeks.
