Shatta Wale Strips At Ghana Meets Naija Concert

Controversial dancehall artiste Shatta Wale had music fans screaming at the TiGo Ghana Meets Naija Concert when he surprisingly stripped on stage as he climaxed his performance.

Shatta took off his clothes leaving his white underwear while fans screamed in excitement, or perhaps shock. Shortly after that he went off stage.

The Saturday concert, which was the fifth of its kind, was one of a kind. It attracted a large number of music fans to the Accra International Conference Centre (AICC). The auditorium of AICC was filled beyond capacity. Some patrons even had to stand on their feet for over six hours to savour the pulsating performances from artistes.

Among the out of the ordinary performances were those of Nero X, Keche, Ruff N Smooth, MzVee, Shatta Wale, Sarkodie and Stonebwoy from Ghana.

From the Nigerian team also came remarkable performances by the Mavin crew, made up of Don Jazzy, Dr Sid, DI’Ja, Korede Bello, Di’ Prince and others.

Sarkodie had an interesting night as he entertained the crowd with countless songs. Perhaps the icing on the cake for him was when the crowd demanded that he perform his dumsor song. Stonebwoy and MzVee also did their bit.

But Shatta came with the juicy bombshell for his fans. He came on stage from the crowd, with his followers flying Ghanaian national colours and that of his Shatta Movement.

He performed his songs back to back while fans sang along with him.

Then came the surprising moment when he suddenly started stripping in the course of performing his Talk Talk song. He then left the stage at a point when everyone was thinking he was going to go stark naked.

But he came back on stage to support Sarkodie perform some of their collaborated songs. Jupiter was also on stage to support Sarkodie.

Among other side attractions were DKB, Afia Schwarzenegger and the DJs who entertained the crowd.

TiGo Ghana Meets Naija Concert was organised by Empire Entertainment in collaboration with TiGo. The concert is an annual event aimed at bringing Ghanaian and Nigerian artistes on one stage to entertain music fans.
