The Federal Executive Council (FEC) has fixed next Wednesday as its valedictory session.
The decision was reportedly arrived at during Wednesday’s three-hour long FEC meeting presided over by President Goodluck Jonathan.
The Minister of Education, Malam Ibrahim Shekarau, who bried State House Correspondents alongside his counterpart in the Information Ministry, Senator Patricia Akwashiki, said “Council meeting held today (yesterday) and will still hold next week”.
President Jonathan, having lost the March 28 presidential election, will hand over power to the President-elect, General Muhammadu Buhari (retd), on May 29.
