Vodafone Makes New Appointments

Accra, May 20, 2015 – Vodafone Ghana has announced three new appointments to its already established talent pool as it seeks to continue its leadership in creativity and innovation in the telecommunication industry.

The Telecommunication giant has been at the forefront of the changing telecoms landscape in Ghana since its entry into the market in 2008. Currently, an independent research into the network quality of the company against key competitors, has ranked Vodafone as the best in voice clarity and 3G internet speed.

Whiles there is no secret that the foundation of any telecommunication company is its network; the latest recognition for Vodafone’s network quality is a major statement of the company’s hard work in delivering value to its customers.

The new appointments are to strengthen three key units of the business;

Eric Tettey, formerly the Research and Investigations Advisor at Tullow Oil Ghana, takes over as Corporate Security Manager within the External Affairs function. Amongst his key responsibilities will be to offer strategic direction and drive affinity to help the company win in the mass market space.

Supply Chain Management is integral to how companies manage the flow of their business processes. To reinforce this, Vodafone has appointedTheophilus Otchere, formerly the Supply Chain Implementation Manager at Cummins Ghana Limited as Senior Supply Chain Manager. Theophilus, who was also previously with Cadbury Ghana, will be expected to support the unit in delivering value to the business as it remains on course to provide unmatched experience to their customers.

Commenting on the new appointments, Stella Agyenim-Boateng, Director of Human Resources at Vodafone Ghana said;
