Swiss clubs FC Basel and BSC Young Boys have joined the race to sign Ghana international Sulley Muntari.
The 30-year-old AC Milan midfielder reached an agreement with the Italian club not to play in their games again until the end of the season when he is expected to leave the club.
The former Inter Milan play came to that conclusion after discovering he was not in the plans of AC Milan for the next season when his current contract is expected to run out.
Sulley Muntari has been linked with a host of clubs in the Major League Soccer. He is also tipped for a return to England with reports linking the former Portsmouth player to Hull City, West Ham United and Everton.
According to fussballinfos, Muntari has attracted interests from Swiss Super League clubs FC Basel and Young Boys and are set to go head to head for the signature of the suspended Black Stars player.
