Fire safety and engineering company, Kuo Fire Safety has injected an undisclosed amount of money into the ever growing corporate league.
The safety company becomes the third corporate institution after Premier Betting and Finatrade to throw financial and logistics support behind the 26-team league made up of Premiership and Championship.
Announcing the package at the Lizzy Sports Complex, the league’s venue, in Accra yesterday, Mariam Beiruti, Sales Manager of Kuo Fire Safety said, ‘We want to ensure that companies are comfortable regarding safety, hence the support.
‘Besides the cash component, we have made provisions for safety logistics like CCTV, fire extinguishers, etc, to take care of all safety needs of companies.’
The other segment of the program saw the pitting of the teams (Premiership and Championship) against each other in this year’s FA Cup scheduled for May 30 at the sports complex.
Ronin Africa will take on Dreams FC, while ETV faces Tema Oil Refinery. MTN I Zone will play Aviation with Blue Skies coming against NADMO. Nestle have been pitted against Golden Leg, while Finatrade will sort things out with NIB.
In other games, Maverick will battle Azar with Finlite playing TV3. Sensor will play DHL, while Nurest take on Snappy.
La Familia have been drawn against GTUC with GNPC Technical facing Vito FC.
Thirteen teams that win will qualify automatically and later be joined by best three losers for the next stage of the competition.
The corporate league began in 2012 with the sole aim of providing a platform for companies to network and exercise in a relaxed atmosphere of a league competition.
