Rivalry: Sammy Adjei threatened to kill my brother – Olele

Former Black Stars goalie, Richard Olele Kingston has revealed that former Hearts of Oak goalkeeper, Sammy Adjei threatened to kill his [Olele] brother.

‘He threatened to shoot one of my brothers because of me; I was out of the country when this incident happened. I want an opportunity to confront him on what exactly happened,’ Kingston said on Accra based Happy FM.

‘This became a big issue between the two families and was resolved quietly by the family elders; i was disappointed when I heard he threaten to kill my brother.’

According to him [Olele] Sammy Adjei has been speculating lies about him. ‘I don’t have any problem with any Black Stars player or any footballer in Ghana.’

‘I have never exchanged words with Sammy before; we have always leaved as brothers.’

Kingston also disputed the assertion by Sammy Adjei that he have him [Olele] opportunity to play in the senior national team [Black Stars]. ‘โ€ฆ this can’t be true, I first played in the Black Stars in 1996 and you [ Sammy] came to the team in 2000. So I don’t understand what he means.’

‘I want a one-on-one opportunity with Sammy Adjei so we can resolve whatever problem there is; If he says he has an issue with, I do not. I want an opportunity to clear the air on this fracas with him,’ Richard Kingston noted.
