Mrs. Saratu Altine Umar
The Executive Secretary/Chief Executive of the Nigerian Investment Promotion Commission (NIPC), Mrs. Saratu Altine Umar is the latest casualty in a series of sack of heads of government parastatals by President Goodluck Jonathan. She has been replaced by another woman, Mrs. Uju Aisha Hassan-Baba.
“The new Executive Secretary/Chief Executive had served previously as Director-General, Legal Aid Council of Nigeria, Attorney-General and Commissioner of Justice in Anambra State and Director, Legal Services, Federal Ministry of Industry, Trade and Investment,” a statement by Reuben Abati, Special Adviser to President Jonathan on Media & Publicity.
Jonathan expressed appreciation to the out-going Executive Secretary/Chief Executive for her services and wished her well in her future endeavours.
