Cofie Bekoe has joined Bechem United for the rest of the Ghana Premier League season, Allsports.com.gh can exclusively report.
The 27 year old former Nania FC starlet hopes to relaunch his career following stints abroad notably with Petrojet in Egypt, Lierse SK in Belgium and Libyan side Ittihad Tripoli.
The attacking midfielder hopes to give Bechem a perfect replacement for last season’s Ghana Premier League goal king, Augustine Okrah who is now playing is Sudan.
Bechem United owner and bankroller, Kingsley Owusu-Achau personally welcomed Bekoe to the Brong Ahafo club, signing the deal that officially adds Bekoe to the club’s roster ahead of the commencement of the second round of the Ghanaian top flight.
Bechem have relied on the goals of midfielder Noah Martey in the first round of the season during which they amassed a paltry six wins from 15 games and sit in 12th place on 19 points, just a point above the relegation zone.
