Local Black Stars coach Maxwell Konadu has named a strong 20-man squad for the 2015 COSAFA Cup, Africanfootball.com has exclusively reported.
The list includes Nathaniel Asamaoh, who managed to score 12 goals in 13 matches in the Ghana top-flight.
League leaders AshantiGold and Asante Kotoko dominate the squad with four players each
Ghana’s squad also includes six players who played at the 2014 African Nations Championship
The home-based national team have been invited as a guest nation to the tournament meant for Southern African Nations.
Ghana will face the winner from Group B- which contains Lesotho, Madagascar, Swaziland and Tanzania- at the quarter-final stage on 24 May.
The team have been in camp in Accra since Monday and expected to leave Accra on Thursday.
