WAFA U14 beat Ivorian side Caci Academy U14 2-1 in an international friendly at the WAFA Stadium in Sogakope on Sunday.
With their silky talent and football artistry, the twinkle stars were able to outlast their West African neighbours who were physical.
Junior Diamandi opened the scoring in the first half before Sampson Agyapong added the second after the break.
Caci snatched a consolation midway through the second half but “the Baby-faced Assassins” held on to the win.
The second leg of the friendly will be played on Tuesday.
