Essien Rejects Euro 1.4 m Olympiakos Deal

Ghana star midfielder Michael Essien has turned down a Eu1.4 million offer from Greek giants Olympiakos, according to reports in Italy.

Essien, 32, is set to leave Milan at the end of the season and Olympiakos were one of the sides strongly linked with the midfielder.

But reports from Milan on Sunday morning revealed the former Real Madrid and Chelsea star has rejected a 1.4 million Euro offer and would rather consider other offers before deciding where to move next.

The versatile midfielder has not enjoyed the best of seasons at Milan this season, starting just seven (7) games under Filippo Inzaghi.
