Investigations first: I have not boycotted Hearts of Oak

President of the Ghana Football Association, Kwesi Nyantakyi has rubbished reports that he has boycotted matches involving Accra Hearts of Oak.

The Caf Executive member was attacked by some irate fans of the Phobians after their Confederation Cup defeat to Djoliba at the Accra stadium about two weeks ago.

The issue is currently under investigation and the Wa All Stars boss says he will return to match venues to watch the red, blue and yellow boys once investigations are concluded.

But for now, ‘it is risky to go Hearts of Oak match venues’.

‘There is a case before the Police, I was nearly assaulted at the stadium and I want the matter to be resolved or fully investigated before I decide to go to the stadium…as it stands it is a big risk to go to the stadium,’ Nyantakyi told Starr Fm.
