Giants energy drink company Blue Jeans Energy offer GHC 30,000 financial reward to Hearts to edge past Esperance in CAF Confederation Cup



Each Hearts player will be GH ¢1,000 richer if they secure qualification to the group phase of the CAF Confederation Cup.

Giants energy drink company,  Budget Cash and Carry, sole importers of Blue Jeans Energy Drink will announce the package during a short ceremony in Accra on Wednesday.

The move is to serve as real boost to the side ahead of their two-legged ties against the Tunisian outfit.

The top company is first to offer such a practical financial support to the only surving Ghanaian side in Africa inter-club competition this year and will also give them products which will exceeed the financial reward of GH¢30,000.

Hearts players earn GH ¢500 as winning bonuses for away matches and a further GH ¢300 for home wins, which means a further GH¢1000 will enhance their pockets, provided they negotiate qualification to the money zone of the competition.

But the giant energy company has upped the financial package to the side to inspire them to qualify to the group phase of the competition with the ceremony expected to take place at the Holiday Inn Hotel in Accra. (4pm local time).

The 2000 African champions travel to Tunis on Wednesday night for the first leg tie on Sunday before returning home for the reverse fixture in two weeks time.
