Ghead Grisha: Egyptian referee to whistle Esperance vrs Hearts

The confederation of African football (CAF) have appointed Egyptian officials for the 2015 Confederation Cup last qualifying round first leg tie between Ghana’s Hearts of Oak and Esperance du Tunis.

The centre referee, Ghead Grisha will be assisted by fellow countrymen, Waleed Ahmed Ali and Berme O’ Michel.

The controversial Egyptian official, Ghead Grisha was sent packing by CAF after awarding a dubious penalty for Zambia against Nigeria at the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON).

Esperance heads into the fixture on the back of a painful 1-0 at the hands of champions elect in the Tunisian Proffessionele.

Hearts of Oak will need to put up a good fight in Tunisia in honour of their departed former trainer, Sir Jones Attuquafio, who died in the early hours of Tuesday, May 12, 2015.

Meanwhile, midfielder Emmanuel Hayford, striker Sealssie Adjei will all miss the cash in Tunisia. The 18-man squad will leave Accra on Wednesdayย ย with Turkish Arlines to Istanbul before connecting to Tunisia.
