Black Stars player Abdul Baba Rahman is playing through pain for his Augsburg side as the Ghana international has not fully recovered from the injury that kept him out of Ghana’s friendly against Senegal and Mali.
According to German news tabloid Bild, Stefan Reuter revealed Baba Rahman who has had a very good season in the German Bundesliga takes pain killers and wears a special protective gear on his toe before matches.
The report indicates the Ghanaian player has been doing this since he did his toe ligament in a game against Freiburg.
Reuter said:
‘He has problems and it shows in matches.’
Baba is said to be refusing to allow the injury mar the sterling season he has had leading to the chase for his signature by almost half of Europe’s best clubs.
