The game against Naft Tehran ended 3-0, meaning Gyan’s club are now top in Group B of the competition.
The Black Stars captain has endured a tough season through constant injury breaks but he has still managed to power the national team to the final of the Afcon and his club to their current place in the Asian CL.
This weekend, Al Ain will be crowned champions of the UAE, with Gyan contributing 14 goals so far.
The player will be expected in Ghana next month when camping for the qualifiers for the 2017 AFCON begin.
