It was a day of unforgettable fun at the the New Morning Art CafÃ© when one of Ghana’s female singers, Ssue, staged a concert dubbed ‘SSUE Unplugged Showcase’ on Thursday, April 30.
Although the night witnessed historic performances from Pat Thomas, Jimmy Beckley, Bibie Brew, Kojo Osew, among others, Ssue, who was the main artiste, charmed the audience as usual with her creative stagecraft and got the entire audience singing along.
SSUE, a daughter of one of the prominent music industry personalities, Kofi Amoakohene of Scratch Studios, performed alongside artistesuch as Pat Thomas, Jimmy Beckley, Kojo Osew, among others.
The event attracted hundreds of music fans who witnessed historic musical performances from Ssue and other acts.
The young artiste last year shared stage at various times with acts like Becca, Osibisa, Yinka Davis and Steve Bedi.
She also performed at last year’s ‘Dream Child Concert’ at the National Theatre, and sang backing vocals on the United Kingdom-based Ghanaian trumpeter Paul Bilson’s ‘Stuff It’ album.
