In the pipeline: No Great Olympics deal yet – Eric Bekoe

Former Asante Kotoko goal poacher, Erci Bekoe has stated he is yet to officially sign a deal with Ghanaian Premier League side Great Olympics but admitted that talks are still ongoing.

The 26 year old forward is currently without a club after he terminated his 6 month deal with Moroccan top flight side, Chabab Atlas Khenifra due to the club’s financial crises.

It was reported in the local media that the 2007 Ghana premier league top scorer has officially joined Great Olympics but the one time Black Stars player cooled down those reports.

‘I have not yet signed a contract with GT. Olympics, talks are still ongoing so hopeful everything will be official next week,’ Bekoe told Allsports.com.gh

‘I’m free to join any club because I terminated my contract with Chabab Atlas Khenifra because the club was in financial crisis and in my 3months stay with them they couldn’t fund for both my salary and contract fee. So on my return to Ghana for my mother’s funeral I terminated the deal.’

If a deal is reached it will be Eric Bekoe’s 5 Ghana Premier league club in 11 years after playing for Liberty Professionals, Heart of Lions, Asante Kotoko and Berekum Chelsea.
