Togolese football icon, Emmanuel Adebayor’s outburst about his family continues to receive massive reaction from the public.
Amongst those commenting on the ‘Adebayor Family blues‘ is Nigeria RnB music star, Peter Okoye (Member of P-Square).
Peter empathized with Adebayor, thanking the footballer for the bravery shown in sharing the story, while also empathizing with the pressures on him as a successful African man.

Indeed as Africans, the pressure is always on the most successful in the family and it hurts when your efforts are not appreciated and belittled. Truth is you owe no one. Your family should be proud of you and not condemn you. I’m so proud of you bro. Remain blessed,” Peter posted on his Instagram with a photo collage which showed him and Adebayor.
The Tottenham Hotspurs FC player on Tuesday posted on his Facebook a tale of his family’s ingratitude, abuse, malice and threats to his life.
