RED CARD: David Accam sent off in Chicago Fire defeat

Chicago Fire striker David Accam was shown a red card in his side’s 1-0 defeat to Sporting Kansas City ON Sunday night.

Accam was sent off the in 89th minute with a soft red card for hassling Kansas City defender in the penalty area.

The Ghana international will now miss both of Fire’s games against Real Salt Lake and New York City FC.

The win helped Sporting KC to end Chicago’s winning streak at three games on the back of Paulo Nagamura’s 75th-minute goal in the Major League Soccer.
