VIM: Hebert Addo not worried by missing quartet

Hearts of Oak will have to dig deep to find a suitable replacement for its four key players that will be missing the Confederation cup second leg tie against Djoliba AC on Sunday.

The quartet that will be missing the Sunday’s game are the club’s captain Robin Gnagne, Isaac Oduro, Owusu Bempah and Seidu Mutawakilu which will be a major headache for the technical handlers of the capital based club.

Robin Gnagne and Isaac Oduro will be out due to match game suspensions and Owusu Bempah and Seidu Mutawakilu are with the national U-20 team preparing for this month’s FIFA U-20 World Cup.

But coach for the Phobians, Herbert Addo is optimistic of getting a suitable replacement for the missing quartet ahead of their Sunday’s crunch game against Djoliba AC from Mali at the Accra sports stadium.

‘It is true that Robin Gnagne will be missing this match but there are three others who will be missing,’ he told the media at the club’s press conference.

‘Isaac Oduro, Owusu Bempah and Mutawakilu Seidu will all be missing so we have four vacancies to fill.

‘Isaac Oduro has two yellow cards and Bempah and Mutawakilu are on national team assignment. But I am confident we can find suitable replacements for them. People always say that coach Addo doesn’t have a starting eleven but this is one of the reasons why.

‘Four players are missing and we must replace them.’
