Ghana forward Kwesi Appiah found the back of the net for Reading on Saturday as they produced a sterling away performance, thrashing Derby County by 3 goals to nil.
The 24-year old, who was only making his second start(six appearances in total) for Reading, since completing a loan move from Palace scored the opener in the second minute to set Reading on their way.
Appiah latched onto a loose pass from midfield and finished cooly past Derby goalkeeper Lee Grant to mark his first goal of the season.
Jem Karacan and Michael Hector also found the back of the net for Reading, who ended a run of four straight losses coming into the game.
The loss sees Derby’s play-off hopes crushed as the defeat allows Brentford to sneak into top-six of the championship.
