Godfred Donsah has not been running the midfield show for Cagliari in the Italian league for nothing, at least the player’s revelation of the footballers he admired most growing up tells you a lot about the inspiration behind the teenager’s box-to-box displays in Serie A.
Donsah revealed renowned countryman, Michael Essien, the former Chelsea midfield strongman now strutting his stuff for Italian giants, AC Milan along with Frenchmen, Claude Makelele and Patrick Vieire as well as Mali’s lanky midfield workaholic, Momo Sissoko as his favourite players ever in a tweet on Friday morning.
