Emergency meeting: Hearts of Oak board meets on Tuesday


The Board of Premier League side, Hearts of Oak will hold an emergency meeting today [Tuesday] at the club’s secretariat at exactly 14:00GMT.

The meeting which will be chaired by the Majority shareholder and the Board chairman of the club, Togbe Afede XIV  will have three main agenda  on the table, that is the current financial state of the club, the team’s performance in the ongoing league and the club’s weekend Confederation Cup second leg game against Olypique de Ngor in Senegal.

But with the current performance of the club in the First Capital Plus Bank Premier League, sources close to Allsports.com.gh say the Board of the capital based club are not happy with team’s performance especially with coach Herbert Addo’s work. A stern decision is expected to be taken on the veteran trainer after Hearts of Oak’s Inter club championship game against Olympique de Ngor coming this Saturday in Mbour, Senegal.

Currently in the First Capital Plus Bank Premier League, Hearts of Oak are on the 13th position with 15 points in 12 games. 

However, the Phobians are expected to leave the shores of Accra to Senegal on Thursday evening.
