Senegal once again proved superior against Ghana after a 1-2 win on Saturday in an international friendly in France.
Moussa Konate came from the bench to send Black Stars goalkeeper Razak Brimah twice into his net to pick the ball as Richmond Boakye-Yiadom managed a consolation for Avram Grant’s side in Stade Oceane du Le Havre.
This is the second time the Teranga Lions are beating the Black Stars after disciplining them last January in the Africa Cup of Nations in Equatorial Guinea.
The first half ended goalless with both sides coming close to opening their accounts.
After the interval, the Ghanaians proved superior but fortune smiled at the Senegalese who scored first in the 66 minutes through Konate five minutes after his introduction into the game.
Konate doubled their lead a few minutes later before Boakye-Yiadom came from the bench to reduce the deficit with six minutes to close. The game ended 2-1 for the Teranga Lions.
Ghana will play Mali on Tuesday in another friendly.
