COP/Mr. John Kudalor and Nukporpe jointly unveil the model billboard
The Ghana Police Service, in collaboration with Olive 360 Limited, an outdoor advertising agency, has unveiled model signage and billboards at the Police headquarters.
The signage and billboards, which would be mounted nationwide at all police stations and facilities across the country, are expected to make the facilities more conspicuous and accessible to the people, among others.
The signage, which would also be fabricated, branded, installed and managed by Olive 360 Limited, would provide the name of the police station, logo of the Ghana Police Service, emergency numbers to call the Police and an advert space for the institution providing sponsorship for the signage or billboard.
The Director General/Operations, COP/Mr. John Kudalor said the initiative forms part of the police administration’s ongoing transformation of the service through modern policing strategies.
The Director-General stated that the introduction of the signage and billboards is also in line with the mandate of the police administration to satisfy the needs of the citizens.
COP/Mr. Kudalor appealed to corporate institutions, Non Governmental Organizations (NGOs) and other bodies to support the project which he said would start later in the year.
The Managing Director of Olive 360 Limited, Elvis Nukporpe, said the advertising agency would under the project provide and install 700 signage and 45 giant billboards.
He added that the billboards would depict images of men and women of the various units of the Ghana Police Service in action at locations to be selected by the police administration.
Mr. Nukporpe noted that his outfit last year mounted shelters at the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) approved barriers throughout the country to serve the police personnel and members of the general public.
He gave the assurance that they would effectively partner the Ghana Police Service to undertake various initiatives.
