Hearts face resilient Inter Allies


Accra, March 27, GNA – Accra Hearts of Oak will engage resilient Inter Allies in week – 12 of the First Capital Plus Premier League at the Tema Park on Sunday.  

Hearts of Oak who has leap froged to 12th position courtesy Berekum Chelsea losing points following a decision by the Ghana Football Association (GFA) Disciplinary Committee ruling faces a tough challenge.

The Phobians still struggling to find their feet in the league will count on Gilbert Fiamenyo who leads the goal chart to claim all points.

Without a doubt, it will take a tactical disciplined side to maneuver its way through the gallant defenders of the visitors to achieve their aim.

Hearts Coach Herbert Addo is likely to parade the likes of Owusu Bempah, a member of the U-20 side side who emerged bronze medalist at the just ended Africa Youth Championship and Ollenu Ashitey, Robin Gnagne Foovi Aguili, Shaun October to humble their opponent.

With three matches to end the first round of the league, Inter Allies, yet to concede at home after five games will employ the services of Mohammed Sherif Deo, Sabah Lawson, Simon Martey, Karim Sadat for the magic.

In other interesting ties, Great Olympics will welcome Wa All Stars at the Accra Sports Stadium whilst at the Kpando Park second-placed Heart of Lions face Medeama SC.

Elsewhere, league leaders Ashgold will travel to the Sunyani Coronation Park to seek a win against BA United who occupies the 15th position on the log whilst Aduana Stars and Berekum Chelsea clash at the Agyemang Badu Park in Dormaa.

Hasaacas in another thrilling fixture will play WAFA at the Sekondi Stadium at Essipong, whereas New Edubiase United host Bechem United to the Len Clay Sports Stadium at Obuasi.
