Support to win: Kotoko launch operation fill the stadium with Duncan


The Management of Kumasi Asante Kotoko have urged their teeming fans to fancy watching their games at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium especially with the presence of the club’s new coach David Duncan in order to encourage the team continue their winning run.  

Opoku Nti, the General Manager for the Porcupine Warriors has stated that, Coach David Duncan and the players are working hard to positively change the fate of the club this season, adding that they need everybody’s support.

‘We all know the difficulty we went through in order to get the signature of David Duncan and now that he is with us, I am encouraging the fans to patronize our matches to boost the morale of the team, hence we have launched operation fill the stadium with Duncan”.

‘Duncan has turned things around, so we have to give his outfit the maximum support and at the same time the positive turn up at stadium will give us extra money to run the team,’ said Opoku Nti.

On Wednesday, in the Upper East Regional capital, Bolgatanga, Kotoko thrashed Paga Crocodiles 4-0 in the MTN FA Cup match. Before this result, the league champions walloped the undefeated Bechem United at home by 3-1 on Sunday, after they had earned a draw in Algeria against El Eulma in the CAF Champions League a fortnight ago, all under David Duncan.

 The club managers are counting on these impressive outcomes to see the fans returning to the stands.
