Reading have signed Crystal Palace forward Kwesi Appiah on loan until the end of the season.
Appiah, 24, spent part of this season on loan at Cambridge United, scoring eight goals for the League Two side.
He will not be available to feature in Reading’s FA Cup semi-final against Arsenal at Wembley as he is cup-tied.
Appiah becomes Reading’s second loan signing of the week after Chelsea and Netherlands Under-21 defender Nathan Ake joined on an initial month’s loan.
Kwesi Appiah was loaned to Cambridege United early this season and called back from loan to crystal Palace, but couldn’t get regular playing time, hence necessitating another loan spell with Reading.
Appiah was part of the Black Stars team that finished runners-up in the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations held in Equatorial Guinea.
