Pusher promises not to kiss in movies as he takes his turn on ‘Autograph’

Award winning Ghanaian actor Adjetey Annan, popularly known as ‘Pusher’ has promised not to kiss in movies anymore.

He made this revelation on Joy Prime’s popular celebrity talk show ‘Autograph’, hosted by Nathaniel Attoh.

Pusher noted that the decision which he has taken for some time now has not sunk down into the minds of his fellow female actors.

He recounted how he got peeved because a fellow female actor tried to get a kiss from him while they were rehearsing a scene in a movie.

Pusher started his acting career when fellow actor Wakefield Ackuaku invited him over to watch a rehearsal for ‘TV Theatre’ at GTV.

The director asked him to fill in for an absent cast. This, according to him, was his starting point.

He had his breakthrough In ‘Things We Do For Love’, a series that took the Ghanaian television industry by storm in the early 2000’s.

In that series, Adjetey Annan played the part of ‘Pusher’ who was the bad boy in love with Dede.

The character Pusher in ‘Things We Do For Love’ has nothing to do with the actual Adjetey Annan, who confessed to being in bad company during his school days despite his being the school prefect.

Today, the former “bad boy” is married to Elorm, and together they have a lovely child.
