OFFICIAL: Inter Allies striker Fatawu Safiu joins Portland Timbers on loan

Ghana Premier League side Inter Allies have confirmed that striker Fatawu Safiu has joined Portland Timbers on loan with an option to buy him until October.

Safiu was the club’s top scorer for last season with seven goals in all competitions when he joined the club for the season half of the season.

He is currently playing with the second team of Timbers and must do more to justify his selection for Major League Soccer.

Safiu scored for T2 last Sunday when they beat University of Portland 4-1.
