MTN FA Cup: Kotoko wallop Paga Crocodiles


Rejuvenated Kumasi Asante Kotoko continued their impressive performance under their newly signed coach David Duncan by mesmerising the lower division side by four goals to nothing in Bolgatanga on Wednesday to book their ticket to the round of 32 of the MTN FA Cup

Youngster Richard Oti set the stage for the wallop by scoring the only goal in the first half of the game for the Porcupine Warriors.

Kotoko back from recesss mopened fire on Paga Crocodiles to score the three other goals through Richard Mpong, Obed Owusu and Emmanuel Asante.

The Ghana league champions will return home to take on Liberty Professionals at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium, Kumasi to seek their first home victory, since a 2-1 win over Inter Allies on match day 4.

Kotoko under David Duncan have played three competitive games, winning 2 and drawing 1, which is their best this season.
