Two Ghanaian highlife musicians, Samuel Obeng Wiafe, aka Okuraseni Samuel, and Yaw Labito, who gained so much prominence and recognition in Ghana some years back, are due to perform at a number of charity musical concerts in the United States from June 27 to October this year.
The charity musical concerts, being organised by Adum African Market, in collaboration with OKS International Band, would also feature some selected acts based in the States.
According to the organisers, the charity musical concerts is being organised to raise funds for some selected needy homes in Ghana, including Osu Children’s Home and to celebrate Ghanaian music and to offer an entertaining and relaxing atmosphere to all Ghanaian music fans in the States.
The highlife musicians who are billed to perform at the various events are expected to entertain guests with some of their old and recent compositions.
