Rahim Ayew insists his younger brother, Andre is only focused on winning the Ligue 1 title with Olympique Marseille and not about talks of his imminent departure from the club.

The 25-year-old is strongly linked to join Newcastle this summer when his contract at the French club runs out.

Ayew is currently one of the senior players at Marseille having come through the youth ranks.

He is however yet to win a league trophy with Les Phoceens as his time with the club draws closer to an end.

Reports are rife the Ghanaian forward is in talks with his suitors negotiating his next move.

But his brother, Rahim insists this is not the case.

“Andre is not thinking about moving out of Marseille,” he told Goal.

“What is on his mind at the moment is winning the Ligue 1 and going injury free.

“So to be frank with you, Andre does not know his next step for now as he is concentrated on Marseille.

“He went through the youth ranks of Marseille and has risen to the top. He feels at home at Marseille and he is in no haste to take a decision to move out of the club.”
