Spokesman for the 2014 World Cup Commission Thomas Boakye Agyemang insists there is no confirmed date yet for the presentation of its report to the President John Mahama.

There are widespread reports the Presidency is ready to receive the long-awaited report of the commission.

The three-member commission chaired by Justice Senyo Dzamefe had completed its work three months ago and are now only awaiting to present its report to the President.

Recent reports claim the report will be presented to President Mahama on Friday but the commission’s spokesman Thomas Boakye Agyemang says they are not aware of this.

“Officially the commission has not been made aware of a confirmed date to present a report,” he told Angel FM.

“The commission doesn’t have a designated office since the completion of its work so I don’t know how or where such an official communication will be lodged.

“I have however checked with Justice Senyo Dzamefe and he also says he doesn’t have such a communication.”

The Presidential Commission was set up to gather facts and make recommendations over Ghanas disastrous showing at the 2014 World Cup and other related issues.
