Thanks for beating Nania: John Antwi pays Dreams FC winning bonus following away win


Former player John Antwi who promised to pay the winning bonus of the team after the win over Nania FC will affirm his promise on Monday.

The Al Shabab striker who is monitoring the performance of the side in far away Saudi Arabia is impressed with the output of the players in the ongoing Division One League. John assured the playing body an amount of 100 cedis each if the three points is secured at Nania.

Dreams FC beat Abedi Pele’s team 1-0 on Saturday to maintain their second spot in the zone three League table with 13 points.

The win is the first away victory for Dreams FC. The Kweiman based side has showed a tremendous character in their debut campaign in the second tier League competition.

Coach C.K Akonnor’s side has been phenomenal so far at home after keeping a one hundred percent record with three wins from three games but boast of one win, one draw and one defeat in the three away matches played so far.

The team will head to Tema on Saturday to battle bottom club Tema Youth in another fierce encounter in a week seven fixture.
