Adjetey Anang To Host USA Premiere Of Pieces Of Me

Actor Adjetey Anang will host the US premiere of new movie Pieces of Me, his most recent project with Ghanaian actor director Fiifi Coleman.

The film features Mr Anang and several African film heavy-weights such as Akofa Asiedu, Abeiku Acquah, Napo Masheane and Ecow Smith-Asante, and will premiere on March 28 at a red carpet event at the Hoff Theater in College Park, MDUSA at 7:30pm.

Fiifi Coleman is best known for his acting roles in movies such as Wedlock for the Gods, Adam’s Apples, Ties that Bind and more recently, Any More Women.

Fans of the actor will be pleased with his work behind the camera as he tackles a dramatic unwinding of two lead female characters—well known Ghanaian actress Akofa Asiedu and Napo Masheane, an actress, playwright, director and spoken- word artist based in South Africa.

Pieces of Me also features veteran Ghanaian movie stars David Dontoh, Fred Amugi, Irene Opare and introduces newcomer Awo Ahiable, playing Dela, the quick-witted best friend and screenplay writer of the film.

‘Adjetey Anang hosting this premiere brings the energy and excitement we need around the project.

This isn’t my first time directing, but most people know me as an actor. For many people, Pieces of Me will introduce them to my work as a director,’ Coleman said.
