Afriyie Acquah is back for Sampdoria after missing their impressive 2-0 win at AS Roma through suspension for accumulated yellow cards.
And Sampdoria coach, Sinisa Mihajlovic who has already shown massive faith in the 22 year old Ghanaian midfield workaholic, has strut Acquah straight into the side that hosts Inter Milan in a Serie A cracker on Sunday evening.
Mihajlovic indeed took time off to deliberate on the possibilities of the game with Acquah on Saturday, plotting his winning strategies around the former Palermo and Parma midfielder as Sampdoria intensify their chase for Champions’ League qualification.
Acquah’s side are also looking for what will be a fourth straight league win after hitherto going six matches without victory.
The Black Stars midfielder has been a regular starter in Mihajlovic’s side since arriving from Ghana’s silver winning run at the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations in mid-February.
Acquah’s side currently occupy 6th spot, only goal difference behind Fiorentina who sit in the 5th and Italy’s last UEFA Europa League qualification spot.
