Richard Ofori is reveling in high confidence as he prepares to lead the national U-23 team into battle against Mozambique tomorrow in the qualifiers to the 2015 All Africa Games.
Ghana return to the scene of the country’s conquest of the last edition of Africa’s multi-sport tournament as Ofori and his Black Meteors teammates face the Os Mambas in the first of a two-legged tie at the Estádio do Zimpeto on Saturday.
And the Wa All Stars goalkeeper has exclusively told Allsports.com.gh from the team’s camp in Maputo that all is well and the Black Meteors will return home victorious after tomorrow’s game.
“We are very good, everything is going on well and all we are thinking about is the game. We have trained well, there is nothing to worry about,” Keeper Ofori said.
“Of course it’s not going to be easy playing away from home but we know we have to work much harder than ever before,” Richard Ofori said.
He concluded: “And yes of course we will bring victory to Ghana, we’ll work hard for that. All we ask is the complete support of Ghanaians, they should pray for us.” Follow @thedonplato
