Sellas Tetteh: Wasteful Setellites played against purposeful Flying Eagles

Sellas Tetteh has indicated that the Black Satellites, although enjoyed a greater percentage of the possession in their 0-2 loss to the Flying Eagles of Nigeria, they were wasteful in front of goal.

Ghana were beaten 0-2 by their Nigerian counterparts at the semi finals of the African U-20 Championship on Wednesday in Dakar, despite seeing plenty of the ball.

The 2009 FIFA World Cup winning coach has voiced out that his side were lacking cutting edge upfront, whereas Nigeria utilized the few chances that came their way to carry the day.

‘I’m highly disappointed because we had many opportunities but we were not clinical upfront.

“What we failed to do, Nigeria were good there by scoring the few opportunities that came their way,” Sellas Tetteh said.

Ghana will face the losing semi finalist of the Senegal-Mali other semi final game that comes off on Thursday for the third place play-off on Saturday, while Nigeria will take on the winning semi finalist for the final of the competition on Sunday.
