President Idriss Deby Departs


Accra, March 19, GNA – President Iddris Deby of the Republic of Chad, left Accra yesterday afternoon for his country, after a day’s official visit.

During his visit, President Deby held discussions with President John Dramani Mahama on bilateral concerns, as well as areas which held prospects for Mutual Corporation.

The two leaders also discussed security threats within the sub-region, and strategies to deal with them.

Before departing at the Kotoka International Airport, President Deby inspected a Guard of Honor from the Ghana Army, consisting of three officers and 102 men, with Captain Maxwell Adam Mahama in command.

President Deby was seen off by President Mahama and a number of state dignitaries.
