Kevin Prince Boateng’s next destination could be decided by his fiancee Melissa Satta after a revealing interview.
The model/TV host revealed at the opening of a fitness centre in Milan that the Schalke star is eyeing a return t the city where he won a league title in 2011.
“I’m a fan of AC Milan and Kevin has remained connected to the club after three wonderful years.”
Satta shuttles between Germany and Milan where her TV job is and continued to explain why there was a chance for the talented but injury prone player could return to a club that is currently in a downward spiral.
“We talk a lot about football at home and we two are very sorry for the way things are run at Milan. Kevin loves Milan and Italy, and if there is the opportunity to return, he would think about it. “
Milan sold Boateng as they undertook a wage structuring programme but the player has endured an inconsistent season with the Gelsenkirchen club after his explosive first season where he scored 9 goals and laid on 4 assists and with his 8 million euro salary,he is one player Schalke cannot afford to have sitting on the bench.
There have been reports that the club could bring in Real Madrid’s unsettled midfield enforcer Sami Khedira as a replacement,paving way for Boateng’s release in the summer.
