Missing in action: Questions arise over Inkoom’s Houston Dynamo move

Ghana defender Samuel Inkoom has not been included in Houston Dynamo’s current list for this season’s Major League Soccer.

The Ghanaian international right-back was traded to Houston Dynamo along with Joe Willis, in exchange for Andrew Driver and a fourth-round 2016 MLS SuperDraft pick.

However, allsports.com.gh checks on Houston Dynamo’s website indicate that the former Platanias defender is nowhere to be found in Houston Dinamo’s current roster for this season’s Major League Soccer.

Inkoom faced similar fate with Ukranian side FC Dnipro when he was ousted in the middle of the season following lack of playing time before joining Platanias on a six-month loan deal last January.

The 25 year old then signed for D.C. United in September 2014 after completing his loan and appeared in two regular-season games. The Ghanaian defender appeared in two games at the 2010 World Cup, including a knockout round win over the United States.

Inkoom has 46 caps for the Black Stars and previously played with FC Basel (Switzerland) and SC Bastia (France).
