Shameful: Match official eases himself over crowd agitation

The Tema-based match official eased himself, after agitated fans demonstrated their anger over poor officiating in the national division 1 game between KFC Samosa and Elmina Sharks that ended one all at the Wesco Park on Sunday.

The game was full of tension and the centre referee Abraham Tetteh had to hold play twice because supporters of KFC Samosa, the home team were not happy with some of the decisions of the match officials and attempted to attack them.

However, the security men for the game calmed down the situation to enable play to continue on both occasions.

When the game came to a close, David Adiko on his way to the changing roomย  asked for where he could get a place to ease himself but it was too late.

‘Officiating was really bad and this aroused the anger of the Krofrom fans of KFC Samosa, because most of the decisions went in favour of Elmina Sharks, the away team,’ a GFA member told Allsports.com.gh

‘The home fans began agitating and this forced the game to be held twice and the scene created by the supporters scared assistant 2 referee, David Adiko.

‘Adiko on his way to the changing room started smelling very bad, so we began to ask what the reason was, before he asked us to show him a place to ease himself, but it was too little too late because the faeces had already began to drop down his uniform.’
