Contrary to speculations that former military president, Gen. Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida (retd.) has relapsed and has been flown abroad for further treatment, a source close to the Minna Uphill residence of IBB, said the self-styled evil genius only went to Germany for routine medical check-up.
Quoting the source, LEADERSHIP said IBB’s current trip to Germany was a normal appointment with his doctor which was fixed a long time ago.
It was learnt that the former military president departed the country via the Minna Airport for Germany in the company of his daughter, Halima Babangida, on Saturday morning at about 10am.
You may recall that the former military leader returned from Germany last November after two months of treatment following a knee surgery, which fuelled speculations of his demise.
