Ho, March 16, GNA – Ho-based Hotsteel Footbal Club, put up an impressive performance to beat Amidaus Professional 1-0 in their Division One League encounter at the Ho Sports Stadium on Sunday.
Constance Danso capitalized on a goal mouth melee to slot home the only goal in the match in the 10th minute.
Amidaus showed great skills in midfield, but was unable to break through the defence of Hotsteel.
After recess, Amidaus appeared more determined and mounted pressure on Hotsteel, but failed to find the back of the net.
Provo Asase, Skipper of the Home Team, had a chance to increase the tally for his side in the dying minutes of the game, but was disposed in the six yard box, to the chagrin of the vociferous supporters.
