Linda Goraseh, Ghana’s winner of Airtel Trace Music Star reality show will be travelling to Kenya to represent the country at the Pan African final.
Linda beat Francis Tengey, Cassandra Tettey, Princess Dartey, and Angela Ackim to win GHc50,000 and the ticket to compete at the Pan African event.
She will therefore be in Nairobi, Kenya on March 28 to compete will 12 other winners from Nigeria, Kenya, Chad, DRC, Zambia, Malawi, Uganda, Tanzania, Burkina Faso, Madagascar, Gabon and Congo.
Speaking in an interview with Myjoyonline.com, Linda said she is preparing feverishly for the Pan African event and Ghanaians should expect that she will make the country proud.
“I would tell all Ghanaians to expect the best from me because I am going to give off my best and leave the rest for God.”
In spite of the huge competition ahead of her, Linda is confident she will emerge winner of the Pan African event.
“I’m confident I’m going to win because I have what it takes and I’m sure all the other contestants are also good but I am going to give off my best and I know that if I give off my best, I am sure to win but if I don’t win, I know it is God’s will,” the 23-year-old said with optimism.
The winner of the Pan African event will get a trip to the USA to be mentored by Senegalese-born international music star AKON. The winner will also get a professional music video and recording deal with Universal Music.
“After the reality show, Ghanaians should expect something from me” she said, adding, I am putting a couple of materials together to “make music my career so they should just expect the best from me,” Linda said.
